SPACE FOR INNOVATION IN SUSTAINABLE URBAN DEVELOPMENT ON THE EUREF CAMPUS

The Club Zukunft Düsseldorf project has created a forward-looking space for dialogue, innovation and collaboration on the EUREF Campus. Spanning approximately 500 m², the design and architecture studio kplus konzept, in collaboration with Stadtwerke Düsseldorf, has realised a flexible hub for ideas and innovations dedicated to the key topics of energy, mobility and sustainability. This tangible spatial design paves the way for a climate-neutral city of tomorrow.
The design concept consistently follows the principle of 'less is more'. Exposed concrete surfaces, open structures and untreated materials define the space's character. This minimalist architectural style is complemented by warm regional materials, certified and recycled resources, and custom-made interior elements. The result is a new, authentic aesthetic in which sustainability is not merely an addition, but an integral part.

LIGHTING AS A FUNCTIONAL AND ATMOSPHERIC ELEMENT

PROLICHT is proud to be part of this visionary project, providing bespoke lighting solutions that enhance the atmosphere and functionality of Club Zukunft Düsseldorf. Here, lighting is conceived as an integral part of the architecture, restrained in appearance and precise in effect.
In the meeting room, custom-made acoustic luminaires in the form of circular panels with integrated OIKO inserts combine high-quality lighting with acoustic comfort to support both focused work and dialogue-driven formats.
In the spacious areas, HYPRO profile systems and three-phase tracks equipped with OIKO PRO inserts provide flexible, high-performance lighting. These systems can be precisely adapted to changing usage scenarios, emphasising the open, industrial character of the space while remaining in harmony with the project's overarching sustainable design concept.
