BETWEEN EXPERIENCE, EXCHANGE AND NEW PERSPECTIVES

LIGHT + BUILDING 2026

Looking back at a remarkable fair experience

__
Light + Building 2026 was a great success for PROLICHT. With around 9,500 visitors from all over the world, our stand became a central meeting point for architects, lighting designers and creative decision-makers.
The intensive exchange, the international audience and the consistently positive feedback once again confirmed the importance of the fair as a global platform for architectural lighting – and our ambition to actively shape it.

A concept that guides through space

The exhibition stand followed a clearly staged concept, guiding visitors through different spaces and layers of content.

The journey began in a deliberately reduced, dark space. Here, the focus was not on the product, but on an idea: the new structuring of our portfolio into Points, Lines and Shapes. An invitation to absorb the concept before it unfolded further.

This was followed by a striking wall installation translating the brand claim designed to create into a spatial experience – acting as a visual and conceptual link between idea and application.

From idea to space – experienced step by step

The main area then opened up to present both new and existing products. Rather than showcasing them in isolation, highlights and innovations were displayed within their application context – as part of a holistic lighting concept.

An overview of the key product innovations is already available:

A glimpse of what’s next

With SEN, we introduced a new line-based lighting system that rethinks architectural light as a continuous, spatial element. Reduced to its essence, SEN structures, connects and defines space – not as an object, but as a design language.

Built around connections as creative starting points, the system enables linear, angular and multi-directional compositions. From minimal lines to expressive installations, SEN transforms light into structure – and structure into spatial experience.

Further details will follow with the official launch.

Light becomes structure – and structure becomes experience

Expanding creative possibilities

In addition, we presented new creative integrations, including the collaboration with Tom Dixon, whose iconic MELT luminaires can now be integrated as inserts within selected PROLICHT systems.
This expands the systems beyond function – introducing a new layer of expression, atmosphere and design freedom.

Inspiring voices on stage

A curated programme of talks and discussions turned the stand into a platform for dialogue. Speakers including Carlo D’Alesio, Chris Middleton, Annette Felicitas Häcki and ZweGiele (Christoph Vollenwyder and Lino Amati) shared their perspectives on how ideas take shape.

Their contributions extended the spatial experience and highlighted the importance of exchange as a starting point for creative processes.

Beyond the product presentation

Beyond the products, the stand offered first insights into themes that will shape PROLICHT moving forward. This includes new approaches in AI-driven planning and development, presented within our ateliers.

We also introduced a new partnership with the acoustic brand OIDO, marking another step towards holistic spatial solutions.
In addition, our newly rethought catalogue was presented – an important element of our future communication.

Our presence at Light + Building 2026 was intentionally more than a product showcase. It marked the beginning of a series of topics that will be explored in greater depth in the coming weeks and months.

Thank you to everyone who made this experience unforgettable!

Light + Building 2026 once again showed how important it is not only to illuminate spaces, but to shape them. The strong response and international interest confirm our direction and encourage us to continue moving forward.
We would like to thank all visitors for the inspiring exchange and look forward to developing these ideas further together.
