A permanent light installation by PROLICHT in Copenhagen

During 3 Days of Design 2026, PROLICHT unveiled Constructed Void X Herman K: a permanent light installation in the atrium of the Herman K hotel in Copenhagen.
Conceived as a spatial composition of light, the installation explores how illumination can reveal architecture, guide perception, and make the invisible structure of a void tangible.
At the centre of the project, SEN defines the atrium through suspended lines of light. Rather than filling the space, the system traces its proportions, connects staircases, balustrades and walkways, and creates a luminous framework within the existing architecture.
The result is a lasting spatial experience where light becomes part of the hotel’s identity: precise, atmospheric and deeply connected to the architecture of Herman K.
Prolicht X Oido
A sensorial dialogue between light, material, and sound

In the hotel’s wine cellar, PROLICHT X Oido created a more intimate dimension of the exhibition.
Surrounded by the raw presence of concrete, visitors encountered a dialogue between light, acoustic material and sound. Hard and soft surfaces, density and absorption, shadow and illumination came together to shape a sensory experience perceived through sight, hearing and touch.
OIKO PRO Silent Beam and BIONIQ introduced precise points of light into the dark, atmospheric space. The lighting supported visual comfort, guided perception and revealed the material depth of the surrounding architecture.
