Wallwasher with VERTICAL BOOST technology

The new wallwashers developed by PROLICHT provide uniform lighting even for tall wall spaces with superb visual comfort – and without illuminating the floor. The basis is the new PROLICHT VERTICAL BOOST concept: a number of spoon-shaped multi-faceted reflectors are mounted at different angles in one module. The lighting technology of the wallwashers is designed in such a way that one single module can provide even lighting for walls up to 4.5 m tall and up to 1.8 m wide. In comparison to traditional wallwashers, VERTICAL BOOST essentially guarantees a more uniform spread of light across the whole wall area. The precisely calibrated surface of each facet provides broad and clean illumination without multiple shadows. Even when mounted very close to the wall or with high walls, the WALLWASH creates a first class result. Additional cut-offs fitted in front of the reflectors to limit the light output lengthwise provide excellent glare control.

PROLICHT offers the new wallwasher as MAGIQ WALLWASH and CENTRIQ WALLWASH variants. The MAGIQ WALLWASH consists of one module with five integrated spots in a row. The system efficiency of the MAGIQ reflectors is 90 percent with a CRI>90. The MAGIQ wallwasher offers a 2550 lumen and 29 Watt package. The CENTRIQ WALLWASHER uses three reflectors arranged in one CENTRIQ trackspot. This means that a round lamp can produce a rectangular beam of light, making it the ideal shape for walls and providing broad and even illumination. The beam angle of the CENTRIQ wallwasher is twice 45° longitudinally and 85° horizontally.

All CENTRIQ trackspots bring the lighting effect to the foreground. Their discreet appearance and sophisticated technology make them ideal for all areas and interiors from shops, hotels, offices and restaurants to private rooms. CENTRIQ is fitted with the Exact Positioning System (EPS). The EPS developed by PROLICHT allows 355° of rotation and 90° of tilt. Detailed degree markings on both axes of movement and audible lock positions at 10° increments make it simple to set luminaires up precisely. The driver and lamp head are kept separate in different housings, to provide improved heat management for LED illuminants.

BIONIQ: State of the art technology in a recessed spot

The new, adjustable BIONIQ recessed LED spots are characterised by a unique lighting effect, technically sophisticated engineering and extreme ease of use. High precision aluminium reflectors create a precise beam angle in all BIONIQ spots. The beam width ranges from extra wide to provide even general lighting to the extremely narrow SUPER SPOT with a beam angle of just 6°.

With their ease of use, and simple installation and maintenance thanks to the PROLICHT One-Lock system, the new spots are ideal for intensive use in shops, hotels, galleries or restaurants. A wide assortment of variants such as adjustable, pinhole or wallwash together with exterior finishes in 25 PROLICHT colours and CHROME provide a bespoke solution for every design.

Degree-perfect positioning with EAS

The EAS system (Encapsulated Adjustment System) developed by PROLICHT allows the spots to be simultaneously rotated and tilted manually. One simple movement and the light cone is positioned to the exact degree with a possible rotation of 355° and tilt of 30°. Detailed degree markings for both axes of movement help with precision adjustment. Different BIONIQ variants offer a choice between optimised glare reduction and a wide range of adjustments. The fixed “Deep” version provides perfect glare reduction, in contrast to the fully adjustable BIONIQ version which allows an angle of up to 30°. The semi-adjustable version, with an angle of up to 10°, is often used to ensure low glare with an angled spotlight.

The fully encapsulated system prevents any rearward light scattering and places the beam of light precisely where you want it. This makes BIONIQ the perfect solution for perforated acoustic ceilings, because the clearly delimited, forward angled light cone creates no unwanted light glow through the ceiling openings.

MECHANIQ: Uncomplicated entry to professional lighting

The high quality spots of the MECHANIQ family offer professional lighting in a standardised design with maximum flexibility and ease of use. The lights are available in trimless and recessed variants, in two sizes (130 and 180 mm), and adjustable inserts make them perfect for frequently changing layouts in retail spaces. Each of the four STANDARD, COMFORT, DEEP and EFFICIENCY versions have an adjustable insert which can be rotated 355° and, depending on the variant, can be tilted to different angles. COMFORT spots can be pivoted into the ceiling, remaining almost invisible to create a clear interior design. DEEP provides excellent glare reduction with its deeply recessed integrated reflector. The cone in these versions can be customised in 25 PROLICHT colours. With its rotation options and positive and negative tilt angle, EFFICIENCY is the most flexible member of the MECHANIQ family.
